naiyer imam, mD
Naiyer is President and Chairman of First Medicine, and is responsible for the company's direction, including forming strategic relationships and acquisitions. A pioneer in the field of teleradiology, he served as Chairman and Founder of American Teleradiology, which merged with Nighthawk and went public in 2006 (NSDQ: NHWK). He holds a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Brown, as well as an MD from Brown and an MS in Biostatistics from Harvard.
Elie, President of First Medicine MENA, holds an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy and a BS in Actuarial Science and Insurance from Notre dame University, has been working in the insurance field since 1990. Elie is a Partner and General Manager of: ACAIR brokerage firm in Lebanon and Zenith brokerage firm in Oman. Elie has been president of the Lebanese Insurance Brokers Syndicate (LIBS) and Vice President of the Federation of the Mediterranean Brokers (FMBA). Representative of the Lebanese Brokers in the European Brokers Federation (BIPAR). One of the Founders of The Arab Insurance Brokers League (AIBL). Representative of the Omani Market in The Arab Insurance Brokers League (AIBL). Representative of LIBS in “ The Cooperation Protocol” between Notre dame University and the Lebanese Insurance Brokers Syndicate.
Gunay leverages her expertise in international business development to form strong relationships with partners overseas. She has worked with New Generation Power and Seaspire Advisors, building relationships for global projects in the healthcare, agriculture, and renewable energy sectors. She and holds a degree in Political Science from Roosevelt University and is fluent in Russian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani.
Shahid is passionate about designing lean launch strategies and behavior-driven user experiences. He helps manage the operational details of the company and produces content for investors, partners, and clients. Shahid was a TEC Fellow with True Ventures in 2013, where he worked at Sano, a wearable tech company in San Francisco. He graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a BS in Neuroscience.
NICHOLAS BOĞAÇ EDIZER
The Director of Business Development for First Medicine in Turkey, Middle East and Africa, Nick is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive market penetration strategy for the integration of First Medicine Tele health operations. Nick’s background includes the last 5 years working at an executive level in the Turkish and Middle East Investment and Healthcare sectors. He has previous experience as a special assistant to both the former Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice and Lieutenant Governor of Ohio. He is fluent in both Turkish and English and holds a Masters Degree from overseas, with a B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Most recently a partner at Davidoff Hutcher & Citron, LLP, and Chair of the firm's healthcare group, Andrew has focused his practice in complex commercial litigation, healthcare, and intellectual property. His experience includes the evolving area of telemedicine, mobile health, and social media, with an emphasis on federal and state regulatory compliance. Andrew earned a Bachelor's of Business Administration and JD from Hofstra University, and also has a Masters of Legal Letters in Private International Law from NYU. He is also the current head coach of the Hofstra University Men's Rugby Team.
